Eight companies from Rheinsiches Revier have been invited to submit formal funding applications in the fourth submission round of the “Produktives.NRW – Critical Technologies for North Rhine-Westphalia” funding call. The planned investments range from new recycling processes and climate-friendly construction materials to the production of battery technology and synthetic fuels.
Euromat GmbH – Baesweiler: Construction of a production facility in which special mats are manufactured and transformed through the application of heat into durable metallic coatings for components.
SECARA GmbH – Chempark Dormagen: Energy-efficient recycling of mixed industrial plastic waste and plastics from end-of-life vehicles, and their processing into a high-quality raw material for new plastics.
Synhelion Germany GmbH – Brainergy Park Jülich: Construction of an industrial demonstration plant that uses organic residues and renewable electricity to produce climate-friendly synthetic fuels, with the longer-term aim of manufacturing sustainable aviation fuels.
MANUGY GmbH – Pulheim: Planning of a manufacturing facility for the series assembly of modular production systems that can be flexibly used for various battery-cell manufacturing technologies.
Oellers-Immex GmbH & Co. KG – Aldenhoven: Establishment of an industrial production line for bio-based corrosion protection systems that replace conventional coatings with a more resource-efficient alternative.
FibreCoat GmbH – Aachen: Construction of an industrial facility for the production of polymer-coated glass and basalt fibres, which serve as lightweight and durable raw materials for applications including the mobility and construction sectors.
NewCo/LANXESS – Chempark Dormagen: Planning of an industrial demonstration plant that recovers silicon and iron compounds from solid sewage-sludge residues for applications including glass-fibre and semiconductor production.
Cyclize GmbH – Dormagen: Construction of a fully electrified facility that uses a plasma-based process to convert difficult-to-recycle waste and CO₂ into circular synthesis gas for the chemical industry.
